I could not be any happier with the customer service, vehicle service, timing, and price. I had not yet established a mechanic since moving to Tampa a few years ago, but could sense the integrity with my very first interaction. Big Bonus: Supporting a small, local business. Stopped here to get a check engine light from a sudden malfunction with my vehicle. Upon inspection they advised me of a 180 fee for the inspection, in addition to the cost of repairs. Most good mechanics build in their assessment into the cost, as most consumers don't come in and tell them how to do their job, and what they would need fixed. Felt pretty scammed, and the cost of the repair in comparison to the Firestone across the street was outrageous. I will never come back here again, and I would recommend avoiding this place unless you enjoy being nickel and dimed to death by fees for them simply doing their job. I’ve used them before and have had great experiences, but the last time was not so hot. Thus the 2 stars. Last visit I went in for an oil change and to have them check on electrical issues with headlights. When I said I wanted them to check on the headlight issues, they asked if I wanted a diagnostic, which I wrongly assumed meant an evaluation of the lighting issue. They did not disclose costs for the diagnostics up front. $280 later, I had an oil change and a 28 page diagnostics report but no fix for the headlights. $100 for an oil change is pretty steep but another $180 for a diagnostics report I didn’t ask for is pretty insane. When I questioned the charges, they shrugged it off. I paid, left, fixed the electrical issue on my own, and am currently looking for a new shop for other fixes.
